Red and linen cushion cover

This cover is made from red patchwork fabric and linen material. It has, of course, a couple of Quirky houses sewn onto one of the corners! I have hand appliqued them and then oversewn with the machine. Took longer than I thought but was enjoyable to make.

    They are all lovely! the linen/cotton combo appeals to me very much. The addition of the applique and embroidery adds the finishing touch. I love the character of the houses.

    I am now the oh so proud owner, at last, of one of Pennys creations...
    The beautiful cushion with a bit o patchwork and a bit o stitchery and a bit o quirky houses and I couldn't be more delighted...
    It is a piece of art...I have wanted a piece of her work for ages now and this was ideal with a bit of everything combined..
    Tis sooooo beautiful and I can't thank you enough Penny...If possible its more gorgeous in RL xxxxx
