Moooo!

I had a brain wave and wanted to paint one of the cows that gather during the summer around my daughters fence (actually wanted to do the whole crew). They are such nosey creatures and cant bear to not see what you are upto. Like curtain twitchers :0D

But what was in my head didnt translate onto paper! The fencing came out OK but am stuck with how to do cow fur.....think I might finish off with pastel chalks. Trouble is when something doesnt turn out right I lose the push that got me started in the first place and go off the painting!
Anyway here is where I'm at so far......

She looks a bit forlorn!

  2. She does look a little forlorn as if to say 'you've forgotten me...' I would love to be able to draw and paint like that though.

  3. I like your cow, we have them over our back fence too, and they are nosy. I dread development that could take away our cows.

  4. Sweet painting. I too wish I could draw and paint. I would love cows looking over my back fence, unfortunately I have foxes coming over my hedges instead :o)
